As Impact Lead at GreenPact, you will play a crucial role in establishing an impact framework and developing impact assessment tools for ventures in the ClimateTech sector.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead our impact assessment and analysis work, guiding both our team as well as our portfolio of ventures on their impact journey, ensuring they align with our mission to create a more sustainable future. Additionally, you will manage partnerships with key stakeholders and collaborators to maximize the overall impact of our initiatives. You will report to our Impact Partner and be a key part of our analytics, impact, and communications team.
Responsibilities:
- Establish an impact framework:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive impact framework that defines the key impact areas, metrics, and targets.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of impact goals with the organization's mission and values.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the impact framework, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
- Develop impact assessment tools for venture use:
- Design and implement impact assessment tools and methodologies to evaluate the environmental, social, and economic impact of ventures.
- Provide guidance and training to ventures on how to effectively measure and track their impact performance.
- Analyze impact data collected from ventures and generate insightful reports to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Support and guide ventures on their impact journey:
- Work closely with ventures to help them integrate impact considerations into their business models, operations, and strategies.
- Provide mentorship and advisory support to ventures in identifying and implementing sustainable practices and solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to provide ventures with access to relevant resources, networks, and knowledge.
- Manage partnership with key partners and collaborators on impact:
- Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including academic institutions, investors, NGOs, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with partners to leverage their expertise and resources in advancing impact-related initiatives.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration among partners to drive collective impact and promote best practices.
- Develop a portfolio analysis model and generate impact stories for GreenPact communications:
- Design and implement a portfolio analysis model to monitor the impact of a wide portfolio of ClimateTech ventures supported by GreenPact.
- Collect and analyze impact data from ventures to assess the overall performance and effectiveness of the portfolio in achieving sustainable outcomes.
- Identify trends, patterns, and success stories within the portfolio and develop compelling narratives to showcase the positive impact of GreenPact ventures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in impact assessment, sustainability, social entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of impact measurement frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate impact data effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting and guiding ventures or startups on their impact journey.
- Proven track record in managing partnerships and collaborations for impact-focused initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for sustainability and a deep commitment to creating positive social and environmental change.

Terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). This position is full-time, with a starting date of September 1, 2023 (or earlier, according to mutual agreement). You will be employed as an Academic Officer, Senior Officer or Senior Executive Officer.
You will be employed at DTU Skylab, Lyngby Campus, and will be working specifically on the GreenPact initiative in collaboration with different stakeholders.
